I just sent a text to my "Soviet gurus." Hopefully we will have an answer in a few minutes

Sadly, I haven't heard for either of them yet.

There was earlier in the year some spam cans with brass cased "target" ammo at Sportsman's Guide. It was something like $200 per can or something relatively expensive, and berdan primed.

yes, they do exsist, havent been around for a pretty long time now, and from what i read, they are pretty unreliable and sometimes dangerous ammo. but they do exist, google "bulgarian light ball brass surplus" they are from the 50's and were sometimes stored very poorly. but its all good, i just picked up a couple silver tip copper washed last night and going in on a group buy next weekend for three more cans. i should be held over enough to i start saving up some brass rounds. thanks everyone

p.s. chinese also has a brass surplus and also egyptian i think it was. but they charge at least 60c plus a round for it. the brass is still berdan primed and takes some signifigant working to reload. so not worth it to me, ill just buy the PMC orPPU stuff a little at a time and save up the brass.
