Glock 20 trade for a P238??? I'm thinking yes.

Hello everyone. I have a gentleman who wants to trade me my NIB glock 20 gen 3. Std frame. Std sights. For his P238 nightmare NIB. I have a P938 and believe it to be the finest carry gun ever. I think this is a good trade. Thoughts? Thanks all!! I do have another 10mm. A Kimber. Just thought I would use the G20 as a woods gun.

If you are that hyped about it already, then do it. Don't let anyone else's opinion here change something that you obviously want to do.

allaroundhunter, agreed. I just like reassurance! Haha! I'm a rifleman. Handguns elude me. Except sigs. I have no problems deciding on sigs.

A G20 for a Cohen SIG? Is it in 'rainbow' or 'diamond plate'?

No, don't do it. As much as a Sig fan I am, the P938 is about the same size as the P238 and is way balistically superior. Why and when would you carry a P238 over your P938? The G20 is a max firepower gun and complements your P938. FYI, my P938 is my favorite EDC gun. I too have a G20 and its about as good as it gets for max firepower in a pistol.
I am not a Glock fan but the G20 is the exception in 10mm.

I like my SIG P238 HD. Not criticizing it, but I personally would have no use for a huge Glock 20, or for the expensive and rare 10mm. So I would do that trade.

I do endorse the SIG. I think they are very cool and am thinking of getting another. Unless you have some reason to miss the G20, why not trade?

Did the trade, feeling good.

I did the trade folks and love the P238. The thing about blocks is that they are everywhere. If I want another G20. I can get one. The G20, along with many blocks except 17/22/31 grip frames is not comfortable in my hands. And I have big mitts. It's a good trade.

Do you have another 10mm?? I will be the first to admit that Sig's point much more natural than any Glock. It's just that in the 10MM, the G20 really shines.

Then I would have traded as well. I didn't know you had another 10mm. A Sig is,....well,.....a Sig and needs no explination.

I have both the Sig 938 and 238, they are on top of the food chain for concealed carry while my Glock guards the bedroom at night. All are nice guns but the 238 will be your constant companion.
