New acquisition

Just picked up a used S&W 686 2.5 barrel. Gave $450 and that included a box of 38 ammo. How'd I do?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1369939068.524799.jpg

I think you did just fine,,,

Anytime you can buy a working S&W that's not a beater for less than $500.00,,,
You scored a decent priced handgun.

Nice find my friend,,,

I like it, and I'm not a fan of full underlug revolvers. At least from an aesthetic standpoint. On a short barrel, it seems less pronounced.

Dig the mother of toilet seat grips, too.

Well done. Enjoy!

The snub 686 is a real good gun.

Mine now has Secret Service Ebony grips now, sort of like the ones on my M66 also shown here.

It's a real good gun to use Cor-Bon DPX .357 full power loads.

Nice find and great price!

I'm not nuts about the billboard on the bbl. But it's still a nice revolver.
