22-250 1-14" twist, 55 or 50 grain?

Just curious which bullet weight you get the best accuracy results.

22-250 Remington, 1 in 14" twist, do you tend to get better accuracy with 50 grain or 55 grain bullets?

I recently just went thru the same thing. I used Varget powder and tried 55 grain because I load those in 2 of my 223s already. I ladder tested those and could only get 3/4". I then got some Hornady 50 grain SPs, flat bases and after 3 different times of chopping my charges I now punch a single ragged hole. My gun is a Tikka T-3 in 22-250.

I have tried both

And like the 50s better. One Rem and one Savage both preferred the 50 grainers. All guns are different. If you can find both weights of bullets see which your gun prefers.
The 50 grain Sierra Blitzkings drop coyotes like Thor's hammer.

What a trooper said.

The rifle does equally well with both bullet weights and can go up to 60grains with no problem.
