I say go cheaper them more expensive. A basic gun. AR-15s do need some oil but I would reccomend something like this DPMS $699. If you really want to make it more like a glock try installing a Piston system.

Okay... You can't say RECOMMEND, DPMS, and PISTON on here all in the same sentence. That's like kicking a yellow jacket nest.

My thoughts exactly.

BTW, Glocks are all about simplicity and easily available and replaced parts. An AR piston system represents neither.
