High School Trap Shooters in MN

A very positive news story about high school trap shooting in MN. High School trap shooting has 'taken off' in MN according to the sports reporters.

Young men and women are shooting trap in MN and competing against one another. They shoot at their local ranges and their scores are entered on line to the centeral authority that keeps track of team and individual standings.

They said the actual state tournament when they all come together in Alexandria MN June 7 might draw 2,000 shooters.

It's a totally positive video about 4 minutes long that shows new young shooters getting into a sport they can participate in for a lifetime.

And not a single dad blame word about 'gun violence'.

Great news and I'm happy to hear it. I'm stunned that something so wonderfully American has somehow come to be considered a sport by any school system. Good for them!

The Farmington, IA gun club sponsors the high school trap team at Harmonony High School, and Jefferson County, IA also has an active trap team.
