Gun Buying Abroad

Hello folks, this is first post. Im new to the gun scene (<12 months) and i have started a small collection of firearms. I used to collect old radios but now i have set that aside. I do travel and i wonder if anyone here has the experience of buying a gun/rifle from , say Europe and or Turkey? What do i need to know about bringing in a firearm that i buy overseas?

thanks

With that being said, I highly recommend using the search feature on this site in the future. Oddly enough, this link was pulled up through Google. Welcome to the forum.

The biggest headache is having to deal with the ATF. You will have to get permits, but it can be done.

The import process is a hassle, to put it mildly. You'll need to find a dealer or importer who's willing to undertake the whole endeavor, and the cost is likely to be high.

Welcome to the forum soryu. As others have stated, importing a firearm is a hassle and can be expensive.
