Galco King Tuk
Who has one?
I ordered one for my Glock 23 and 27 tonight, I am reading great reviews. |

I have one for my Springfield XDm and I like it alot. Its comfortable and secure. As a bonus its a good secure fit with my Glock 21, my XD .45SS, my Sig P250 .45 compact and my Sig P250. 40 subcompact.
My only dislike is its a little tricky to get on without unbuttoning my jeans but that's probably a bit of a nit pick.

I have one for my Glock 23 and my XD9sc. I think it is a quality product. I prefer it over some other brands of tuckable leather/kydex holsters.

I always thought these goofy holsters where they slap a piece of Kydex to a large slab of leather were silly. I own quite a few holsters by some of the best and none of them, other then Galco, offer such a design. Maybe I'm missing something or maybe the mast majority of people who suggest these holsters have ever used a classic design that really works quite well. Hope I haven't hurt anyones feelings with my opinion.

It is without doubt the greatest holster I've ever bought. I carry a Gov't size 1911. I have sung it's praises to a good friend; he bought it and agrees that it's awesome.

basically a copy of the crossbreed supertuck.
nothing different as far as I can tell. a buddy picked one up instead of the super tuck. found he couldn't draw his gun. the molding was a bit agressive. was traded out without incident. |

I have been using a Ted Blocker DA3 which is an expensive all leather holster designed to be worn the same way and fasten to the belt in exactly the same way as the Galco King Tuk and I still think the King Tuk is a great holster.

I have a king tuck for my 1911 and my sig 2022.
Great holsters. Not an original design, but there are only so many ways to skin a smoke wagon. |

As others have noted, the King Tuk is Galco's copy of the CrossBreed Super Tuck original. My King Tuk is a comfortable, well-made and well-designed iwb holster that carries my SIG Model 220 Carry pistol securely and discreetly.

Great timing, seeing this today. I decided earlier today to buy a hybrid holster. This just determined which.

Wonder how the King Tuks are copies of the Cross breeds when the cross breeds themselves are a copy of another design.. LOL
On my third now.. picked one up for the M&P's.. never had a problem with any of the three not releasing the gun to draw like Andrew mentions.. The 1911 holster was too tight for my liking.. for about a day or two then broke in and is now just as great as the other two.. |
