Glock 23 Gen 4 Review

Took me a long time to finally purchase a Gen 4 Glock. This has run perfectly just like every other Glock I have or have ever had (too long a list to count). I do like the new stippling and recoil spring; recoil is a bit milder than my Glock 23 Gen 3. Ran a few boxes of Federal 165 FMJ and Speer Gold Dot 165 JHP through it, no issues. Once my Comptac holster arrives this will be my primary CC.

Very nice! I kind of miss my Gen 4 Glock 19... even with it's brass to face issue. For that frame. I liked the stippling on that frame a lot.

Congrats! As your new CCW, what's it going to be replacing?

Yes, I bought one of those about a year ago and sold it, wish I had kept it.

I have never had that problem with mine.

^^^ must be nice.

Even with the new and good parts mine was still doing it to me -___-

All my gen 3's have been flawless.
So was the gen 4...but that brass to the face wasn't pleasant.

I've not had that issue on mine.

My Shield 40. Keeping it as I love that gun however I felt like going back to a larger frame.

Nice, a 22 or 23 is next on my "Glock to get it" list.

No "brass2face" issues w/ my Gen4 17 or 35.

I love the new grip texture and sizing. My 17 runs like a dream. Glock had to send me a new RSA for my 35 though (hopefully it will be here this week).

I bought my Gen4 Glock22 about 3 years ago and have been completely satisfied. The only thing I have done to it is added a grip plug and upgraded the Recoil Spring Assembly to the latest version which was free from Glock Inc.

I'm happy with my Gen4's. They've functioned fine with the most updated RSA.

I have the 23 Gen 4 and love it. I was in a conversation with a few friends recently. We talked about what one gun would you keep. If I could only keep one it'd prolly be my G23 with my G27 coming in a close second.
