favorite handling gun?

We all have one, just one you love to handle. It's usually next to the computer, just to pick up and look at inbetween posts 'n stuff.
Mine is my Nickled .38 Special Derringer! There's just something about the old Remington O/U that intregues me! I love to handle it and it goes to EVERY shooting session at the Club to get at least a couple shots thru it!
OF course Safety first, check for unloaded and fondle to your heart's content...

The 5" 1911. Just feels like what a gun is supposed to be.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ YES!!

I love the feeling of a well put together 1911. Natural pointing. It is just "right."

S&W Model 14, It is just one of those guns that everything works right for me and I only have to think about the target.

My Kimber 1911 (45 cal) is new to me and I love the feel of the gun. I have a feeling this will be my fav before long. In the past I've enjoyed shooting numerous handguns but a Sig 226 was a good one as was the Glock 21.

Mine's a tie between my cz-75 and my S&W Model 19.

The CZ is my baby. One of the first guns I ever bought, and it was the feel in my hand that pulled me in. I haven't looked back. I put it on my list of guns that I would only trade if I absolutely had to to put food on the table/insulin for the future missus.

The model 19 is a newish piece, and I just love the feel in my hand. Original factory grips (bought off eBay), and it just reminds me how a wheelgun is supposed to feel. Too bad the missus has informaly adopted it.

I don't fondle it daily, but by far my 5" all steel Springfield TRP 1911 feels better in my hand than any other gun.

When I bought it, it was priced a bit more than what I had planned on spending but once it was in my hand, I knew that I had to own it.

I have a three-way tie.

I have always liked 1911s, and I have a couple nice ones.

But I learned to shoot on K frames, and they point very naturally for me.

The CZ75 family also point for me better than most any other gun.

Based on size, concealability, and capacity, the CZ P01 usually ends up taking top honors - since I shoot all three about equally well.

My favorite is the S&W M19.
My CZ75b feels so similar to the M19 it's spooky.
I have to wonder if they didn't design the 75b so it's critical dimensions would mimic the S&W K frame.

oops- I forgot that one...there I have to agree.
As much as I love the feel of my S&W M19, the 1851 Colt Navy is far and away the best handling gun ever made.

For a semi-auto, the Browning Hi Power hands down.

For a revolver, any 4" Smith with a set of Hogue grippers.

It doesn't fit the criteria of "usually next to the computer, just to pick up and look at in between posts 'n stuff," but the pistol I get out the most just to handle and admire is a Beretta 92FS Inox with walnut grips. That is just a darn pretty pistol, and the action is silky smooth - really a pleasure to own.

My 1911 which is also my latest purchase.

Took it to the range during lunch today along with my P238, P226, Hi-Standard Double Nine, Buckmark, AR15 and M&P15-22. Left early when I ran out of .45.

Can't believe I waited this long to get a 1911.

Tossup between my CZ P01 and 97b with custom grips and SA trigger.

On a side note, maybe it's just me but I find a well balanced, ergonomic tool to be somewhat calming and soothing. It's not even a gun thing really. I'm just thankful my girlfriend doesn't think anything of me dragging the 97 out of the safe and holding it while watching a movie. TMI?

Only had it for a few weeks but my P238 is the one. I have smaller hands so with the seven round magazine in it's perfect for me.

Any of my 1911s. A 1911 feels like an extension of my arm.
Also my Pre Model 14 S&W Target Masterpiece with it's custom Herrett grips.

Any 1911, they just feel "right" to me. Lately, I've been fondling my CCO size 1911 the most....seems to fit just perfectly in my hand
