Help to ID S&W revolver

Recently found what appears to be an unfired S&W revolver. it has almost 100 % blue and CH trigger & hammer. it has a 4" heavy BBL, fixed sights, and is stamped S&W 357 magnum on BBL. odd number on butt. AWH 12XX. Crane is stamped G6 21956 any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like an S&W M-13.

It should have the model number stamped on the frame under the crane.
