Right or Left hand checkering spacer ?
I am hoping somebody out there can answer a question. I use one Dem-Bart single line spacer almost exclusively, and want to order another. I don't know whether to order the left or right hand spacer to replace the one I have been using.
The one I use the most and want to buy has the cutter on the left, and the solid "guide" that rides in the previous cut on the right, when the cutter is mounted in the handle so that its cuts faster on the pull stroke. The problem is, the left and right hand spacer look identical, except for the angle of the cutting teeth. So is my favorite cutter a left or right hand spacer ? |

You appear to be using a RH spacer, mounted backwards (The cutters are supposed to cut on the push stroke).

THANKS ! That is what I thought, but wanted to make sure. I personally feel like I have more control with it cutting on the pull stroke.
