Sig P239 trigger reach?

Does anyone know that the trigger reach is for the P239? Thanks.

depends on how recent. very recent ones are now made standard with "reduced reach"

I had a SIG P239 with the standard trigger and I felt that the reach was fine, even in double action mode. I have larger fingers though. SIG offers a short reach trigger, not to be mistaken with their "SRT" trigger found on a lot if newer models. SRT stands for short reset trigger. The short reach trigger is reshaped with a deeper contour to cater to smaller hands.

I carry a P239 SAS Gen 2 in 9mm, wear a size medium glove and it is a very comfortable gun to shoot.

newer models are as likely to have "Reduced reach" than SRT standard. Virtually all are now shipped with Reduced Reach and a smaller number shipped with SRT standard.

Also the grip type affects reach

My P239 came with the "short" or "reduced reach" trigger (not to be confused with the short reset trigger) back in about 1997. I HATED it. Couldn't even shoot it weak-handed.

Swapping out for the standard reach trigger and Hogue grips completely changed the handling and the P239 is now one of my best shooters. I wouldn't get the short trigger on a P239 unless we're talking extremely small hands.

I cant speak to the 239 where the grip is natively smaller anyway. But I have a 226 and 229. I have larger than average hands and longer fingers and am actually more comfortable and shoot better with the enhanced elite with reduced reach on versions of those than the standard grip and reach.
What I have found is my palm really sits solidly behind the grip with the enhanced elite and reduced reach, whereas without it the grip is still moved toward the thumb.
