Power pistol with 125gr lead RN

I still have not found a source for using power pitol with Rn lead 125 gr bullets. I asked the question some time ago and ended up buying some HP38 so that I could get started on loads. I sent emails to the bullet manufacturer but they will nat give me load data. I need starting- finish load and OAL. Can someone point me in the righte direction. Please. I have the Lee sheet that came with the press and also the Lyman book. I dont mind buying another book but I would prefer a online reputable resource.

i would load them at 5.8 gr but thats just me.

Use jacketed data.

Use FMJ data.

Not much data out there with Power Pistol and cast bullets but it works very well with them.

I use hornady bullets #10058 LRN power pistol 5.3gr__5.7gr 900--1100fps, 124gr bullets with a col of 1.090. This is out of the complete reloading manual for the 9mm luger from One Book/ One Caliber. I have had my best loads using 5.5 with the 125gr lrn from missouri bullet co. Charlie

Yea for an autoloader, lead data is normally no different than jacketed, its revolvers where there is a big difference. For 9mm, you can use jacketed data.

For 9mm luger, I use berrys 124gr with 5.3gr of power pistol. shoots well from my ruger p89 as well as my kel-tec sub-2000. (berrys advises to use lead load data)

The data in my hornady book (#8) is as follows:

124gr LRN. C.O.L. = 1.090"
Power pistol, 4.3gr @900fps-5.7gr @1100fps

According to the book, my load should give 1050fps from a 4" bbl. I don't yet have a chrono, but its significantly faster from my 16"bbl sub-2000. I have 1 homemade ar400 swinging plate target I use with all my handgun calibers, no handgun does any more than remove the paint, but the sub-2000 with this load actually roughs up the surface, putting maybe .005" divots in it....

Thanks so much guys. That data will be a big help. The OAL is .035 shorter than what is called out for HP38 and the generic 125gr LRN. When Im loading now there is still a little lead shoulder sticking up past the brass. 1.09" should sit flush
