New P232/ammo question

I just bought a Sig P232 and they even had some fmj ammo for it at a local store this morning. For the time being I just bought two boxes of the ammo (PMC) but am looking for a good defensive carry round. I've looked at the golden sabre jhp at a couple on-line places and it seems a good round but before ordering, any other recommendations out there?

Two good rounds I've never had a bit of trouble with are the Gold Dot and Hornady Critical Defense.

Gold Dots run perfectly in my 232. The Remington Golden Sabres you mentioned have also ran fine in my 232 and just about any other gun I have put them through.

Thanks for those suggestions. Just ordered some Critical Defense and I'll try the others too at some point.
