Gel test: 10mm Underwood 155 gr XTP

10mm Underwood 155 gr XTP fired from 4.5" barrel EAA Witness through four layers of denim into calibrated gelatin.

BB calibration: 581.0 fps, 3.75"

Impact velocity: 1,454 fps
Penetration: 11.0"
Retained weight: 152.2 gr
Max expansion: 0.838"
Min expansion: 0.629"

Thanks. I would have thought that the 155 gr. XTP would have gotten to the magical 12 inch mark at that velocity. I shoot a limited amount of 10mm and stick to 180 gr. loads.
