Dance & Bros. Site
I drive through East Columbia, TX on TX-35 about three times a month and finally took the time to track down the site where the Dance & Bros. cap & ball revolver shop stood early in the Civil War.

I was surprised by the topography in the pictures and didn't think it could be in Texas, because in our minds everything in Texas has sage brush blowing by. Anyway, it looks just like around where I live in Florida, and low-n-behold it's almost on the same parallel. That's cool. Thanks for the pictures.

From San Antonio
I would guess East Columbia is about 2 hours from San Antonio.
East Texas is a lot like Florida. I lived in Florida for about 10 years and have been here about 12. |

East Columbia is 200 miles east of San Antonio. Yeah, I guess in Texas that's about a 2 hour drive...
