Ruger magazines are almost impossible to find nowadays.
Your best chances are:

1. Check an Academy Sports store at opening time (8:00AM) on delivery day.
Where I live, delivery day is Mon, Wed, and Fri.
2. Check out a Gun Show. They always seem to have them.

If you find some, buy what you need. If there's a magazine ban, you won't find any more.

As for the magazine disconnect, I doubt that was your problem. Ruger thinks they are being helpful by packing the slide heavily with shipping grease. It attracts brass filings that jam the striker.

When you cleaned it out, you solved the problem. Future cleanings can be done by spraying CLP in the striker area, then blow it out with canned air.

Order some magazines directly from Ruger if you don't mind waiting a couple of months and paying retail:

And jnichols is correct about cleaning out the striker channel. My SR9 had a lot of light strikes (misfires) in the first 100 rounds. Cleaned it out with some Gun Blast, so now it runs great.
