Also, be sure you choose the appropriate forum: a revolver question should be asked in the revolver forum; a semiauto question should be asked in the semiauto forum; general handgun question in the general handgun forum...

Give as many details as possible about the question. If asking a recommendation state the purpose you intend to use it for, if a troubleshooting problem give the model and make and ammo used, if a handloading question give as many specifics as possible about the load/ or it's target velocity and intended use...things of that nature.
