Caught A Boar Hog Last Night

This guy was in a trap this morning. Never saw this hog on the game camera before.

We recently re-built this trap and laid it on its side. It how has two lightweight root doors. The photo shows the trap baited and set.

This is the first skinny hog we have caught at this location in a long time. He would have weighed well over 200 pounds if he were fat. Gave that hog to a family that needs the meat. Luckily, they saved the fat from some fat hogs.

Not really. In the past six months my hog trapper partner and i have personally field dressed and given away at least 125 wild hogs: Some of those hogs were also skinned. Folks here are glad to get the meat. We have a backlog of names of folks who want hog meat.
