A few months ago you might have been able to build that rifle for around $1000-$1200 if you did not have to buy tools. But with all the craziness, I doubt you can even find a Noveske lower. I think you did okay.

Shoot it already and let us know how you really like it after.

Safe shooting.

No point pondering it's value. You've already bought it...

If at some point you choose to sell it, you'll need to figure out exactly who, made what...

When things return to normal shortly, the value of an AR will once again be driven by the values of it's components.

I like my custom built 6.8 a lot. And I like reloading for it. Lots of choices.

When this craziness started, like many of you, I did a basic inventory. I've got enough of just about everything except I only had four 6.8 mags. They were the good ones but still... a few more would be nice. So I kept my eyes open. Widener's sent out an email saying they had decent ones for $35. So I bought three of those. (The good 6.8 mags always seemed to cost around that much before.) Looks like they are sold out now but other people were right, the 6.8 mags are in less demand. If you look around you might find some.

Midway had 17 rd AR Stoners available as late as Monday for $15.99.

My other mags are 25 rd C Products ($12.99 before the craziness) - zero problems with those.
