Holster Identification Help Requested.

Cleaning out my holster drawer, I found this old holster I bought years ago. I am unsure of manufacture or what gun it fits. I do know a 6 1/2" N frame S & W is swallowed up in it. It is 12" long and 8" across the flap. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I'm fairly certain this is a one-off holster made by a leather worker, not a factory job.
It appears to have been for a large automatic, or even for a piece of some sort of field instrument.
I've seen holster-like leather cases made for instruments used by surveyors, field engineers, and forestry workers..

I thought the bulges looked a little like the Roth-Steyr and attached a picture of that pistol, but then decided the R-S didn't match the holster wear. Now I can't get rid of the attachment. So here is a nice picture of a Roth-Steyr.
