BTW I've been over this thing with a magnifying glass and I don't see a makers mark anywhere just Siles N.Y.
Looks and feels well made though.

I have two Siles revolvers....
An 1858 is steel and an 1860 in steel.
Both have a mark from ASP (The DDG, or is it DGG, I can never remember which, in a triangle.) under the loading lever. Both are top quality.

Doc I looked and nothing all I find is AD for a made date and the serial number in three places. Beats me but it sure does appear quality made.

Tom,
Sometimes ASP put an identifying mark on the grip frame under the grips.
I have another 1858 which is marked in that way. Have to take it apart to find the mark. Tnx,

Thanks Doc I'll let the next owner worry about it, I don't want to take it apart.
