If it says 9mm P, its parabellum, luger, 9 X 19.
If it says 9mm/38, it's largo.

Thanks bill. Now know where I can find parts. The one I have is a 1929 production.

What Parts

I found out that it is a model BS made in the 70s. but the slide stop/release is being held in place by a cotter pin. Is this normal or do i need this part. other than that recoil springs and magazines and firing pin to get just in case i need it.

The slide stop should have a plunger on the thumb piece that contacts a stud on the frame. That may be missing.

The Star B range is 9mmP.

Parts can be tricky, there used to be a fellow in Spain called Jorge, but he's no longer in the business.

I've seen aftermarket springs and magazines, but anything else... maybe Numrich?

I can make some parts for them. Jorge is no longer selling parts.
