SR45 Ruger?

That looks really nice - anybody see one? Tried it out. It's new but maybe you have.

Here's a report:

If it's $529 - that's a nice price but prices today are meaningless.

Glenn, it seems to be a really nice pistol. I would like to try one out someday.

Oh, decisions - I've just seen video of the Glock 30S. I am a long time Glock Shooter. So maybe that's it for me.

OK, so the 30S is the old 30 with a slightly different slide -- do I understand that correctly? How big a deal is that?

Being here in California the SR45 makes the most of our mag limit. Would not be surprised if Ruger was thinking of that as they only have to have a single model as opposed to the SR9 and SR40 which have the castrated models for California.
I know I want one.

the $529 is MSRP, the same MSRP that is on the rest of the SR series handguns which normally hover around $400 actual retail value. for 400 I would definitely like to try one out to get an idea about what it's like in comparison to the other SR offerings.

I wonder if a SR45c is in the works. I love my SR, so may just have to end up with all 3 in the lineup.
