Rock Island .22TCM

Hello! I was at a buddy's place sat night and he showes me this Rock Island 1911 double stack 9mm that also came with a barrel for. 22TCM. Does anyone know anything about this round or firearm. He said the. 22TCM is extremely accurate

When I first heard about the gun several months ago, I thought it was capable of shooting 9mm luger and .22lr without any conversion!

I talked to a guy today that has that gun and said he needed to work on getting it to shoot to POA, but he said it grouped really well. Ammo is pretty expensive.

I hope this round becomes a thing and barrels are available for other 9mms. I'm a sucker for conversions.
