Glock frame
I decided that I like the rtf2 version. I was wondering if any store had a complete rtf2 frame in stock that I could just put the slide on my Glock 22 on?

Have you considered stippling your 22's frame?
I prefer the RTF2's myself, and have a couple. The closest Ive come to them with my other Glocks that dont have the RTF2, has been to stipple them.

Yes stippling is a great way to get any poly gun to grip and fit better. One of the best things about poly guns is They can be molded to fit your needs. I sanded part of the trigger guard on my G20 because it was digging into my index finger when shooting. It fits my hand like a glove now.

Sorry, don't know of any sources, but I agree with you about the RTF2.

Be careful if you are cosidering stippling. Ive seen some nice guns ruined from a bad stippling job. You can make a nice functional grip from a bicycle inner tube. Youtube it. You can also buy slip on glock grips

Glock has discontinued the RTF texturing although it is still available via special order if at least 50 guns are purchased from the factory.
You may be able to find something that's been in stock for awhile somewhere.

Thanks for all the info guys! I really don't like the look of stippling, just looks odd. I will just continue to search for one at a gun show and have my friends keep an eye out. As far as the slip on grip goes does it work well? Will it slip off while shooting, and how well textured is it? I've seen some at WalMart for $10 they didn't look like they had a texture on them though. I could very easily be wrong though since I just glanced at it for a couple seconds.

I guess "odd" is in the eye of the beholder.
![]() I know some stipple jobs do look pretty crappy too. Ugly or not, its the function part that is the important part, and looks are really not all that important. Unless of course, youre a shallow person. If you take your time, and have a little patience, you can do a pretty good job that doesnt look like crap, and while it doesnt look like a RTF2, you actually end up with a grip that works better. Function of the stippled grips is something you cant imagine until you actually shoot one. Ive tried most of the other "fixes" with my Glocks, and havent looked back since I stippled my first. Ive done seven now, and will do any others I pick up.

Glock Gen04 22 RTF-02...
I handled a NIB model 22 .40S&W with the RTF-02 frame.
I did not like it. ![]() I'd heard the Glock Gen 04 series with RTF-02 frames would be LE purchase only(officers or agency bids). I don't know if it's true. Clyde

I stipple mine also. It is very difficult to "ruin" it as you are only heating one small part at a time. You could always get a new frame from Glock if you trash it for about $40 and your old frame.
