SR45 Ruger?
That looks really nice - anybody see one? Tried it out. It's new but maybe you have.
Here's a report: http://www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/gun...der-style-1911 If it's $529 - that's a nice price but prices today are meaningless.

Glenn, it seems to be a really nice pistol. I would like to try one out someday.

Have not seen one yet, but if its anything like the rest of th SR line up it should be a winner.

Being here in California the SR45 makes the most of our mag limit. Would not be surprised if Ruger was thinking of that as they only have to have a single model as opposed to the SR9 and SR40 which have the castrated models for California.
I know I want one. |

the $529 is MSRP, the same MSRP that is on the rest of the SR series handguns which normally hover around $400 actual retail value. for 400 I would definitely like to try one out to get an idea about what it's like in comparison to the other SR offerings.

I wonder if a SR45c is in the works. I love my SR, so may just have to end up with all 3 in the lineup.
