It pays to look!!

I was at one of my LGS this afternoon. I asked if they have any small pistol primers in yet. I was told no, but to feel free to look through what they have on hand. They have 30 plus cases of large pistol primers but no small pistol. Then suddenly, I noticed hidden behind the large pistol primers were 2 cases of small pistol. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I hit the jackpot.

Smart Shopping. When you say case; what are you referring to? A sleeve (5000), a thousand or a hundred?? What were they charging?

I went ahead and placed an order at Powder Valley for 6,000 Winchester small pistol even if they are out of stock. Their price is $26.00 per thousand and you pay another $27.00 Hazmat per shipping order. Powder Valley will not credit my card until they ship. Local prices are around fifty bucks per thousand.

If like a few years ago, I may not see my order for several months. I am in good shape on large pistol and large rifle, but down to only about two thousand small pistol.
