Great info on safes
I've been looking into safes for a while, I stumbled upon this video a year or so ago. It's long, 30 min, but is very informative
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltK-bDbADa8 Next quandary is can I put it upstairs or does it have to stay downstairs. This link goes into a lot of details, it's regarding fish tanks which can weigh quite a bit and both a tank and safe would be considered static loads. http://badmanstropicalfish.com/articles/article28.html It would be great to hear any input from fellow members who have a safe upstairs. Thanks for posting the video link. I have cheap safes for child access prevention, but the wife agrees with me that a larger, quality, fireproof safe would be a good investment. This was worth more than the reading I've done on the safe websites!

Glad you found it useful, I know when someone sees that a video is thirty min long it may be hard to want to watch but I sure learned a lot from it.
