Taurus Acquires Diamondback Firearms
I was kind of sad to see this in that while I don't own a Diamonback I have shot a few of them with buddies at the range and they seemed like a nice utilitarian-like model. That said, sign of the times in that there are more and more consolidations occurring in the corporate world from what I can tell:

Taurus? Seriously? Are they announcing this to promote their guns or damn themselves to eternal hell? I wouldn't take a Taurus firearm if it was free.

They can now each have a POS convention.

Every Taurus product I have owned has been flawless. I currently own 3. I can't say that about all the others. This condemnation trick is ignorant and wreaks of " my gun is better than your gun" syndrome. Now Diamonbback I have no experience with and do not plan to.

I've owned a Taurus and it was a decent gun. YMMV.
If they bought Diamondback I hope they can make the design work. The only two I saw at a range were jam-o-matics.
