Details of Feinstein's new gun-ban bill

Saw this in my inbox this morning, thought I would be the first to post it...

http://www.nraila.org/legislation/fe...-ban-bill.aspx

The lowlights:
  • Reduces, from two to one, the number of permitted external features on various firearms
  • Adopts new lists of prohibited external features
  • Carries hyperbole further than the 1994 ban
  • Expands the definition of “assault weapon”
  • Requires owners of existing “assault weapons” to register them with the federal government under the National Firearms Act (NFA)
  • Prohibits the transfer of “assault weapons.”
  • Prohibits the domestic manufacture and the importation of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
  • Targets handguns in defiance of the Supreme Court
  • Contains a larger piece of window dressing than the 1994 ban

I think that one of the notions common to the anti-gunner is the idea that being a victim is 'noble'; as if it is better to be noble in your suffering than disruptive in your own defense.
