I got myself RCBS chargemaster for Christmas, RCBS has $50.00 rebate and also $25.00 bonus rebate on some other products. One of those is 1 sleeve of Federal primers. I bought a box of 1000 primers 10 small boxes of 100 ea. What I am wondering what do they mean by sleeve, is that the box. probably dumb question but dont know for sure what they mean. anyone know ? thanks

A sleeve is a box of boxes. 5,000 primers I think.

Correct - a sleeve is 5000. When buying components through the internet, the best way to save and make the shipping worthwhile is to buy primers by the 5000 and powder in 8# jugs (multiples of both). That spreads the amount out over a large quantity of ammo

Right now? Might be a tad tough; give it about a month.......but you could probably start with Powder valley, Connie's, Gamaliel, Able Ammo, (and on and on)

Powder Valley is currently out of most all primers except for large pistol.

Panic buying has set in over the gun control revival. Expect stuff to be snatched up as fast as it comes in and for it to be at a premium price for awhile.
