Diamondback DB9 review?

I posted a thread a while back about my father looking for a small carry gun. He held this one at the store and liked both the feel of it and the price tag. Does anyone have some shooting experience with it?

A quick search of this website will reveal that most opinions of this handgun are not very favorable. The bottom line is that it is neither a very durable or very reliable pistol. Your father may be better served by looking at other high-quality, high-value pistols like the Kahr CM9 or Ruger LC9.
