Track of the Wolf Bucks County rifle kit - Update #4

In this update on my effort to build Track of the Wolf's Bucks County flintlock rifle kit, I'll show you how I inletted the barrel tang into the rifle's stock.

Here I always thought bending tangs required heat to do it properly. Apparently not so. Ah, you make it look so easy there Mike.

Never thought of using a sharpening steel on a tang. Ya learn new things everyday.

I'm glad that you mentioned that it took 4 hours to complete that segment because when watching it on video, the work seems to get done so fast, quick & easy compared to the reality.
And by showing us how it's done, you are definitely answering many of the questions and alleviating some of the fears that inexperienced builders might have about tackling such a project on their own.
