Rem Nylon 66 Bolt hold open?
Is there a way to lock the bolt open on a Remington Nylon 66? It would make it so much easier to run my weed eater line through the bore.

None that I ever knew of. Easiest way is to remove the two side screws, then the top cover, then loosen the barrel clamp screw (underneath) and push the clamp upward. Then lift out the barrel and clean from the chamber end. Oh, forgot, the bolt handle removes by pulling straight out, gotta do that before removing the cover. Goat

That was easy, I did look at one of the YouTube videos first and then pulled the barrel and gave it and the action a good cleaning. Many thanks,
