How do steel jackets not meet a "sporting requirement"? They poke the same size holes in a target as copper jacketed bullets.

I would venture to guess that by and large very little sporting use of ammunition involves hunting.

I dont see it impacting ammo sales, but i believe we will see the following AWB first pass

1) No FTF sales

2) No mags over 10 rounds / felony possession for mags over 10 rds / in ANY weapon/ rifle or pistol

3) Bullet button, like Calif. which makes it much harder to swap mags

I beleive that this will be in this, as Diane f. Is from Calif.

4) All semi autos with detachable magazines to be "sunsetted"

I believe that this proposal will go to our lawmakers, and the final bill will have
some verbage on mental health, and action#4 will be discarded, because they
cant get the votes. I dont see them doing the cosmetic stuff from the previous AWB.... But who knows.

The result wont fix the real problem..... Nutjobs..... But they "have" to implement something.....

Whether it works or not.....

Tennjed, I don't think there's any way to make a removeable mag sks 922r compliant without changing the stock.
They have a lot of detailed 922r info at "survivors sks boards"

Good luck policing that one. And the only way to do that would be gun registration! (and we don't want that!)
