Please help me Identify this Mossberg.
My gun dealer has this mossberg on offer. She says that it is a 500ATP. I think it looks more like a 590(a1). What do you think it is? How can you tell a 590 apart from 590a1? Any help would be more than welcome! Thanks.

Thank you I will ask them if these parts are metal. The 500ATP looks very different from pictures that I have seen online. But I could of course be wrong .

My ATP6 is marked just in front of the loading gate, on its belly. It says, right there, that it's a 500 and an ATP6.

The ATPs that I've seen were all marked as Willie describes. IIRC, the ATPs were Mossberg's military/police ('tactical') shotguns prior to the intro of the 590 series.
