Looking for my grandfather's Winchester model 1894 pre-64
I sold my grandfather's Winchester when I was in college, and now I'm trying to find it again.
It was a Model 1894 .32 Special with an Octagon barrel, s/n #453793 I sold it to a private gun buyer in 1987-1988 in Corvallis, Oregon. I didn't know the true value of the rifle then, I was just a stupid kid at the time. Any help tracking down this rifle would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mark Blair |

You'd probably have better luck trying to track down that buyer than to track down the rifle. I hope you find it, family guns are special guns, good luck with your search.

Like above, Id track down the buyer then see what he did with it and keep getting names till you find the current owner
