Club membership required?

Does NRA membership qualify you for a purchase, or does it need to be a local club on the list?

Bought my Field Grade for $495 a couple years ago. Wanted a Service but someone bought every single one during the first hour they were open.

While there, a dealer snapped up all eight M1 carbines in one fell swoop.

But anyway despite having rough wood with 'character', the mechanicals are very good. My stock has the bullet dimples from a soldier banging the clip into it, and a Greek name is carved inside.

Not sure. I don't think so, though.

The easiest way is to join the Garand Collector's Association (GCA) online for $25. It's a great organization that puts out a very nice quarterly journal that's easily worth the fee.

Thanks, Fishbed.... Good news. I don't have any clubs locally that interest me at the moment.

I just joined the CSSA, for the ability to buy one or two. I used to own an old beater M1 but want a little better one.
