I just purchased an AIM Surplus 16" CHF Upper from their website. Has a CHF Daniel Defense barrel, mid length gas system, and Troy 13" Alpha Battle rail and HPT/MPI Bolt Carrier Group. Total impulse buy. Im all fired up about it. Cant wait.
Anyone have anyexperiance with these? |

No personal experience with them but it sounds like a solid upper.

Word of warning.
The "newness" of the rifle will wear off long before the wife's resentment will. Your best bet is to keep the lady happy. |

The poster above is wrong. Your lady will get over it if she's worth her salt and you are financially in a place where you can afford this hobby. If you can't afford it and shouldn't have bought it, that's something entirely different regardless of what your wife thinks.

A friend of mine bought one based on my recommendation. It has been excellent for him and 100% reliable. Good buy.

That's a fancy upper. I couldn't spend that kinda money on one lol. I bought a PSA 16" 1 in 7 twist carbine length for 300 and it stung a little, but I'm over it now lol. Grats on the buy.
