Savage 24V-A manufacture date
I picked a very clean Savage 24V-A 222/20ga today and would like to know the manufacture date. Pretty sure its 1972 but not for certain.

The .222/20ga combination was made only in 1967.

1967 was the first year for the 222. They made them in 222 through 1980. Pretty sure this one is a 1972, but would like confirmation on it though. They have copies of the catalogs on savage24.com, but can't get anyone to respond over there. Oh well. Thanks for the input.
