thats sure a beauty! Id love one myself in 257 but have heard to many horor storys about there accuracy. Looks like you got a good one though

I have the same rifle. Mine is very accurate also. Especially shoots well with Barnes 100 gr TSX and RL-19. Beautiful Rifle.

Only problem is it shoots high and to the right.

They are on average more accurate than most any rifle I've tried. At least 90% of the horror stories you read about on the internet can be traced back to folks who just cannot shoot a 5 lb rifle. The rifles are at least as accurate as any other, but are unforgiving of less than perfect shooting form. It is much easier to hold and pull the trigger an 8-9 lb rifle on a bench than a 5 lb rifle.

It took me a few months and several range trips to master mine, but it has rewarded me with tiny groups ever since I learned how to shoot it. I typically get groups very similar to the OP's, as does almost everone who figures out how to shoot one. But this is the best group I've ever shot with a centerfire. A bit low however. I was working on load development and intentionally adjusted my sights low so as not to destroy my aiming point.

boy id love to have a little 308 that shot that well too!! My buddy has the same gun and his was a bit finiky. Most groups went around 2 inch but he did finally find a load that went one inch for 3 shots with believe it or not a winchester 150 powerpoint. He had about given up on it and was over to the house and I had just bought 3k of them cheap to blast up in my ar10. I gave him a couple hundred to try and they worked like majic in that gun. Shoot pretty well in the ar10 and my model 7 too. Both will do moa with that bullet.
