Something strange about Remington.
My brother was talking about getting a .17 Hornet so I've been researching .17's. The local Cabela's has a "few" boxes of .17 Remington ammo on the shelf so I decided to see what rifles Remington offers in that chamber. I can't find one .17 listed on their site. Since it's a "Remington .17" I thought they might at least offer one rifle chambered in it. What gives? Obsolete?

Remington dropped the 17 Remington about 5 years ago. It was never a real hot seller, and after the 204 Ruger was introduced it really faded.
