2K rounds with S&W M&P SHIELD and .....

Well i today ran the 2 thousandth round through my 9mm Shield. Only one hang up and that was it didnt like the reloads i made.(although they were rather heavy loads)

I checked 1 casing out of every clip and saved them and the first one was a perfect center strike as was the last one i checked. I didnt clean the gun at all through the first 2k rounds just to see if i could cause a hickup but nothing happened.

I believe this to be the most reliable gun i have ever had. Now i am deep cleaning and lubing it tonight and is now my every day carry.

I agree---it's an excellent gun. I run all kinds of cheap Russian ammo through mine and it just keeps asking for more....

Good to know. I have one, got it wholesale after I had already bought my PPS.

PPS is still my fav but the smith is a very fine gun.

i put another 200 through it today after work and still runs like a champ...

Also found a smokin deal at my LGS for 9mm ammo. bought 1000 rnds for 200.00 all brass no steel..
