Ornate Austrian Gasser Revolver - Anyone Know What it is?

Hi. New member and first time poster.

I was recently shown an antique Gasser revolver and may have an opportunity to purchase it. Despite a great deal of searching, I cannot find any information about this particular gun anywhere I looked. If you have any information on this revolver, or if you can point me to a good source, I would really appreciate it.

wish i had some info for you. If the gun was not very expensive I would probably have taken a chance on it, not knowing anything about it. I am a sucker for unusual guns and that looks very interesting

You might try posting this in the Curios and Relics category- lots of info can be found there...Very cool piece!

The 8mm Rast-Gasser is the cartridge used.The gun is well made and easy to dissassemble.Other guns used this cartridge.
