Lowers without a rollmark
I want to find a lower without a rollmark or with a very small one. I have a friend in the service. He doesn't have an AR yet and I'd like to find a stripped lower without a rollmark so I could have it laser engraved. Any ideas where to find one?

Start with a 80%. Law requires a certain amount of info on the receiver. Nodak Spud may have a lower with small roll marking.

I had a Spikes Tactical blemish receiver a couple years ago that had no rollmark on it.

That's unusual, what's on the other side? What side did they place the serial number?

The serial and model number are still there on the bottom of the side. But they didn't stamp their spider on it.

http://www.tacticalmachining.com makes their lowers on CNC mills ... probably the same mills that they use for their 80% lowers. If you aren't in a hurry, I would bet that they would make you one without the roll mark and just put on the necessary info.
