Hornady Lock and Load Powder measure rotor
Hey all,
So I have had my LnL AP for about a month now, and absolutely love it! I'm interested in getting the micrometer to make dialing charges more precise. I know I need the pistol rotor to use this. My powder measure came with two rotors, one is marked "small pistol". Is this the one I need to use the pistol micrometer?? Can't seem to find any for sure confirmation in the manual. Here is the listing with the part number: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/615...ering-assembly Thank all!

I got one for my LnL AP and love it. I don't remember the part number.
I suggest you call Hornady and ask. Their customer service is outstanding. Dan in ABQ |

Yes.
http://www.hornady.com/store/Pistol-...-Rotor-1-Each/ I've been debating getting them for my large centerfire calibers, but since the stick powders I use only meter "so" accurately anyway, I'm not confident it would make a difference. |

The rifle piston has a large diameter hole and diameter piston. For pistols use the smaller diamter hole rotor and piston.

It depends. Have you been using stick powder or ball powder?
When I was using stick powder I also bought the micrometer, but after I bought it, it didn't help me at all. It turns out that for the LnL AP I was supposed to be using ball powder because it measures like water, and it does. Now I use it because I have it, but I suspect that I could have done without it had I had used ball powder in the first place.

I don't think it is an in store item. Call them first before you make the trip.
