Help identify Italian made 1851 Navy revolver

I got an Italian reproduction of the Colt 1851 .36 cal. Looking for the maker. All I could find was C.O.M. stamped under the barrel. It also said Made in Italy on the side. Any idea who made it?

"COM" is the logo of "Contrini Officine Meccaniche di Contrini Giovanni", or Giovanni Contrini.

Thank you sir. Ok so it may have been made in the '70s. I just picked it up at a gun show unfired but with surface rust and with the a defective locking pawl. Not bad for 75 "dollari".

+1 on the long Italian moniker...
I also have a COM 1851 Navy. Not the greatest quality and required a bit of tuning, but it's a decent gun for the price.

Nice find and good price.

I have a Sheriff's model of that revolver (Mine is brass frame.)

The one I have has a loose arbor which occured at least in part as a result of a chain fire event.

I don't shoot it any more but when I did I liked it.
