Red dot & Glasses
Any of you out there with glasses ever have an issue with the red dot sight reflecting making it hard to aim? Or have I only used cheap optics?

HI Ya Mac, I have a Red Dot. I got it for $125.00 it is a no name made in Europe. There are $30 ones too. As well as $400.00 Eotech. The better ones on pistols are C-more and Burris and a couple of others. If you have a good one tell me otherwise the answer well there it is.
Oh and mine is crummy. Max |

I have actual Aimpoint branded ones (the CompM4 and the Micro T-1), as well as a Russian Kobra on a Saiga 12.
Never a problem with these Coke bottle lenses I use.

No issues here with either Trijicon or Primary Arms optics, using my normal specs.
However, I do have a pair of cheaper eyeglasses with "non-coated" lenses that do show some glare with battery operated red-dots. It may be you glasses and not the optic?

I have terrible eyesight and a really strong prescription with prisms. I use an Eotech EXPS2 and its great. No reflection. Still get some doubling with both eyes open but there's nothing I can do about that. Good luck.

The angle and direction of the light has a lot to do with it.
Try it at different times of the day and cloudy days to see if that's the cause. There's polarizing and sun-glass type lenses for the the scopes available that can help, too. Some scopes come with them. If you're having trouble with the reflex type, try a tube type.
